Jyväskylän Seudun Puhdistamo Oy:n perustettiin vuonna 1971, ja ensimmäinen jätevesien puhdistamo valmistui Neinäinniemeen kaksi vuotta myöhemmin. Nykyään Nenäinniemen ja Korpilahden puhdistamoilla käsitellään lähes 160 000 asukkaan jätevedet päivittäin.
Laadukkaiden vedenpuhdistusprosessiemme ansiosta puhdistustehomme on keskimäärin 96 %. Prosessiemme toimintaa valvotaan viranomaistarkkailun lisäksi omassa käyttölaboratoriossamme, kehitämme vedenpuhdistusprosessejamme jatkuvasti.
Vesistöjemme puhtaanapidon lisäksi jätevedenpuhdistamoilla huolehditaan ravinteiden tehokkaasta uudelleenkäytöstä. Jätevedestä erotettavat ravinteet jalostetaan muun muassa multatuotteiksi ja biokaasuksi.
